FORST live 2026: Fully booked exhibition grounds and a high-calibre supporting programme underscore the importance of the event

Offenburg, [23 February 2026]

•    Around 360 exhibitors ensure a ‘full house’ at the 2026 event

•    FORST live positions itself as an important industry meeting place

•    Climate-positive forestry working group with high-calibre specialist and dialogue programme

With around 360 exhibitors from 17 countries – in addition to Germany, exhibitors from Austria, France, Belgium, Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Great Britain, Czechia, Denmark, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, China and the USA – a fully booked venue and a high-calibre specialist programme, FORST live 2026 is once again positioning itself as an important meeting place for the forestry and timber industry.

The central, annual platform for innovation, investment and professional exchange in the forestry and timber industry offers a comprehensive market overview of machinery, equipment and services, as well as current developments in sustainable management, climate adaptation and value creation in the forest and timber cluster.

Interested parties can get an overview of the event in the online exhibitor directory at http://www.forstlive.de/ausstellerverzeichnis. It shows all FORST live exhibitors in chronological order and is regularly updated until the event.

"I am delighted that at the end of March, everything will once again revolve around forestry, renewable energies and hunting. When the exhibition grounds in Offenburg are transformed into a meeting place for experts and machines are not only exhibited but can also be experienced live in action, it creates exactly the special atmosphere that FORST live stands for. In addition to the impressive demonstrations, the numerous specialist lectures, excursions and the new FORST live Congress on Friday make the event a real live experience with technical depth," says project manager Alexander Fritz about the upcoming event.

Climate-positive forestry working group with a focus on climate protection and promoting young talent

With the main theme "Forest. Dialogue. Future. –  Make forests and wood visible!", the Climate-Positive Forestry Working Group is once again placing a strong emphasis on content at FORST live 2026. In the EDEKA Arena, the programme combines exhibition, networking and a high-calibre stage format, focusing on the importance of forests and wood for climate protection.

The event will kick off on Friday, 27 March 2026, with speeches by District Administrator Thorsten Erny, Minister Peter Hauk MdL and climate researcher Prof. Dr. Dr. Hans Joachim Schellnhuber, among others. Dialogue formats and the presentation of the 2026 Forest and Wood Ambassador will round off the programme.

On Saturday, the focus will be on digital communication in the industry with ‘Social Media WaldConnect,’ including the presentation of the 2nd WaldConnect Awards 2026.

Sunday will be dedicated to the next generation of industry professionals and will showcase career paths along the entire value chain – from digitalisation and modern forestry technology to study and training opportunities in the fields of forestry and timber construction. The three-day programme thus sends a clear signal for the promotion of young talent, innovative strength and securing the future of a key climate-relevant industry.
