Messe Offenburg has successfully carried out the charity project "MO fulfills wishes" for the second time in 2019, supporting social institutions in the region. The handover of donations took place on September 30 as part of the Oberrhein Messe.
Very satisfied, the donation bunny MO looks back on numerous collection campaigns. More than 2,000 euros were collected over the year by the charity mascot for the project.
The first campaigns included donations from the proceeds of the MessePlus ticket, which allows visitors admission to various trade fairs, as well as shares of parking proceeds from individual events. On two Saturdays in the spring, the Hare MO could be found in the Freizeit-Arena and received one euro for each pair of skates lent to fulfill wishes. In total, a sum of around 1,200 euros was raised during these collection campaigns.
For the anniversary of Forstlive there were anniversary beer mugs, which were handed out to the visitors for a donation.
At the Badische, visitors also had the opportunity to purchase items provided by exhibitors. The proceeds from this were also credited to MO's donation account.
With the support of numerous partners who provided donations in kind and money for the "MO fulfills wishes" project, a considerable amount of donations was achieved. The Hansjakob School in Offenburg was delighted to receive a check for 550 euros, which will help fulfill its wish for a bouldering wall. The Bunte Haus Offenburg received a set of large foam building blocks from MO. The day support group of Leben mit Behinderung Ortenau wished for a new shelf system for the studio and workroom. MO is pleased to support the facility with a check for 550 euros. In addition, there was a new foosball table for the youth club in Elgersweier, with which all wishes could be fulfilled in whole or in part.
