Offenburg, 15. October 2026 – GeoTHERM will be celebrating its anniversary in Offenburg on 25 and 26 February 2027: for two decades, GeoTHERM has been bringing together international stakeholders from industry, science and research. The combination of a trade fair and a scientific congress provides an opportunity to discover the latest findings and innovative technologies, exchange experiences and forge valuable business contacts. The event’s exhibitor directory is now available online and provides an initial overview of the participating companies.

Exhibitor directory underlines the status of GeoTHERM 2027

Trade visitors can already find out more about the registered companies at www.geotherm-offenburg.de/en/list-exhibitors. The online directory, which will be continuously updated in the run-up to the event, underlines the international significance and status of GeoTHERM as a leading trade fair. Companies from Europe, North and South America, and the Arab world will be presenting their innovations, technologies and solutions from a wide range of geothermal sectors in Offenburg.

A space for young companies and innovative ideas

The Start-up Area offers young international companies the opportunity to present their innovations to an international audience of industry professionals and to forge valuable industry contacts. Start-ups from Germany can also benefit from the ‘Young Innovators’ funding programme run by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), which covers up to 60 per cent of the eligible costs for a shared stand.

Strong registration figures confirm the event’s relevance to the industry

The high level of interest in GeoTHERM 2027 is also reflected in the strong demand from exhibitors. Consequently, only a few exhibition spaces remain available. Companies wishing to showcase their innovations and solutions in the field of geothermal energy still have the opportunity to secure one of the last remaining spaces and take part in GeoTHERM 2027.

Further information and registration details for the event are available at www.geotherm-offenburg.de/en/exhibitor-documents-interesting-facts

A dialogue between science and practice

Running alongside the trade fair, two concurrent conferences on near-surface and deep geothermal energy offer a high-calibre programme. International experts will present the latest research findings, technological developments and practical solutions. The focus in 2027 will be on sector coupling, as well as the interfaces and synergies between geothermal energy, the oil and gas industry, mining and other forms of subsurface utilisation.

The scientific conference thus complements the trade exhibition by providing in-depth specialist knowledge and new perspectives for the further development of geothermal energy.
