International meeting place for the industry: FORST live 2026 combines innovation and practical application

Offenburg, 12 March 2026

•   The entire spectrum of modern forestry technology and services

•   A varied supporting programme with a scientific congress

•   Tickets available in advance online

An important international meeting place for forestry, energy and huntingFORST live showcases the entire spectrum of modern forestry technology and services like no other event of its kind. The spectrum ranges from mobile sawmills, occupational safety and workshop equipment to landscape conservation. Another focus is on wood energy and renewable energies, including modern wood-based heating technology and project planning for wind power and photovoltaic systems on agricultural and forestry land. FORST live has thus established itself as an important international meeting place for forestry and energy.

Hunting and nature conservation also play a central role. Hunting associations, hunting equipment suppliers and nature conservation organisations present their work and offer opportunities for hunters, young hunters and nature enthusiasts to exchange ideas on topics such as forest regeneration and logging.

FORST live 2026 is further expanding its position: 360 exhibitors from 15 countries will present their latest products both in the halls and on the outdoor grounds. This underlines the importance of the trade fair as an international platform for the industry.

In addition to consolidating the exhibition space in the outdoor area, the site will be expanded to the west – including an additional entrance. In addition to its importance as a trade exhibition and demo show, FORST live is also gaining increasing significance as a platform for conferences and events organised by various organisations.

Trade fair for a broad target group

FORST live is aimed at a broad target group, ranging from forestry administrations, forestry companies and forestry workers to landscape conservationists, tree care and horticultural companies, and municipal green space management departments. Heating engineering and consulting firms, housing associations and private builders will also find information on wood energy at the trade fair. Hunters, young hunters and nature lovers complete the visitor structure.

Extensive supporting programme

The trade fair is also undergoing consistent development in terms of content. This year, for example, the FORST live Congress, the first scientific congress, will take place on Friday, 27 March 2026, in the Baden Arena. The event is free of charge for trade fair visitors, but advance ticket booking is recommended to secure a seat.

In addition, the specialist programme offers many other events:

•    2nd State City Hunters' Day on Saturday, 28 March, in the Baden Arena

•    8th Forestry Forum on Sunday, 29 March, in the Baden Arena

•    Climate-Positive Forestry Working Group with a three-day programme entitled ‘Forest Dialogue Future’ in the EDEKA Arena

•    Daily programme on the hunting stage with lectures and presentations in the Baden Arena

•    Three excursions on Saturday, 28 March 2026, combining expertise, current challenges and concrete solutions from the forestry and timber industries. Tickets (10 euros) must be booked in advance.

Many activities and demonstrations in the outdoor area

The supporting programme also offers numerous crowd pullers for both trade visitors and the general public. These include, among others:

•    STIHL Timbersports® Show – on the West outdoor grounds, top international athletes will present the premier class in competitive woodcutting – with axes, hand saws and chainsaws and the utmost precision, three times a day; at 10:00, 13:00 and 15:00
